Last week, I shared my heart and found lots of support from this community. I, however, found even more hope from my Lord and Savior, Christ. Now I am moving forward
We walk through times when our faith is tested. When life throws curveballs, and it is hard to know why we can’t progress in life. Moving forward when you are confronted with health issues and trials can weigh you down. I knew better; but I let the problems deter me and stop me in my tracks. I decided to have a major pity party. I am just being honest here.
Have you been there? I feel like Gideon or Sarah. I doubted my call and I doubted Him. I will not wallow in my doubt, however. These people doubted but were still used greatly of God in the end: Gideon brought deliverance and Sarah supported Abraham with love and devotion and became the mother of all nations.
God has a purpose for each of us. He calls us writers to serve Him; to believe we are good enough. We don’t have to put out a fleece or question His call in our life. He will show us the way if we diligently seek Him.
He knows His plans for us ““plans to prosper (us) and not to harm (us), plans to give (us) hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11.
I know we are human. But God is our deliverer. He is our Hope. No matter the situation I face, He rescues me. He will rescue you too.
As we move forward with our community, what do you doubt today? How do you find hope and faith? What scriptures inspire you in moving forward after a period of great testing? I hope you will share in comments below.

Pam’s post edified me so much this week. It also validated my own searching for Him and His will for my life in the midst of trying times. I may not see His blueprint at this point in my life. I agree with Pam. Our lives can seem to get knocked off track at times; and pat answers of trusting that God will work it out does not offer an exact blueprint or plan for me to proceed. Trusting Him, however, when I can’t see His plan or don’t understanding it moves me into deeper realms of faith.
As you can see God seems to use our community to bolster each other and lift one another up. Did you find a post this week that really helped you in building your faith?
