My family and I returned from a cruise Saturday after dealing with flight cancellations and now sickness.
I hope you will bear with me this week. I will update “Most Clicked” and “Favorite Post” in next week’s post.
In the meantime, prayers for speedy recovery appreciated for all my family members. We all have the same illness and are in bed with flu-like symptoms.

Jo describes her day at the women’s conference in the beautiful Sierra Mountains outside of Yosemite National Park when she decided to participate in the high ropes course, something she never tried before. She writes about the euphoria she felt when she reached the summit, but then the fear that washed over her as realizes she must jump a great gulf. Jo then writes:
“As I stood there, precariously perched atop of the pole, the diameter of which wasn’t much wider than my feet, I panicked! …. but in my fear, I couldn’t move… How often do we experience similar situations in our walk with Christ? … Fear. Fear of rejection, fear of failure and fear of things not working the way we want. But … ”

Sorry to hear you and your family aren’t feeling well. I had that flu-like bug last week with extreme fatigue being the worst symptom. It seemed to only last a week. Praying that you all have a speedy recovery.
