#LMMLinkup: Creating New Year Memories

January 2, 2017 By Mary Hill 7 Comments

Today, we are continuing to create memories with Literacy Musing Mondays and Canvas Factory. I have a special giveaway today for my readers in honor of the Christmas Season. I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas holidays!

I know this Christmas you created a lot of memories around family and fun times. When an official with the community outreach division with Canvas Factory contacted me and offered me a chance to share this giveaway with you I was so excited. A pretty canvas filled with your photos invites a stroll down memory lane. I hope you will take advantage of this great giveaway which I am going to extend one week because my blog was down. The new deadline is now January 13. I will announce the winner the week of January 16.

I loved using Canvas Factory and I know you will love them too.  Here is the canvas I created using pictures I took with my Smartphone! I think it turned out great even though my Smartphone doesn’t have the best camera.

Now for my special Christmas giveaway. Remember it will end January 13th.

Note: I received a free canvas for this review. I only accept products to review if I can really support them! I loved my Canvas Factory experience. I hope to take some great photos to create Christmas memories to put on a canvas this year!

Onto our linkup. We have just three hosts now as you can see. We will work on adding new hosts soon. If you are interested in hosting with us, please email me at marykatbpcsc45 @ gmail (dot) com, and we can talk. 🙂

Choosing a Path for Your 2017

By by Lydia Borengasser

the-path-of-peace

This post fit the bill as I think about the New Year. I find myself in prayer for a word. Remember last year, I did not feel God pointing me to just one word. I hope He can inspire me this year to choose one. I really recommend this post and hope you enjoy. Here is my favorite quote from it:

“Imagine a path free of roadblocks, stretching as far as the eye can see.

To enter, you must acknowledge the Lord every step of the way.

In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Prov 3:6

Blessed is the one who finds Wisdom. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. Prov 3:17″

I hope you have a wonderful New Year!
