#LMMLinkup: Christmas Break

Christmas Blessings

By Mary Hill

We hustle, bustle, worry and fret.

Over presents, parties, and decorations

The season blurs and we lose

The reason for all the celebration.

More than 2,000 years ago,

A little babe born in a manger

Came to loose the captive and heal the sick

He came for you and me

So that we could be free

This is the last linkup for 2017! Time flies by so quickly. Our linkup returns on Monday, January 8; however, we will leave this week’s linkup live through January 6th so you will still be able to linkup your posts during those weeks.

Your hosts wish you and yours A Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

“Managing” Christmas

By Barbara at Stray Thoughts

Barbara shares well thought out tips to managing our business during the holiday season.  We can make it hectic and crazy, or we can take time to simply enjoy the beautiful moments and wonderful times. I really encourage you to check out her common-sense post if  you have not already read it.

My Favorite Post of the Week

A Prayer for Peaceful Beginnings

By

Sarah Geringer

A prayer for peace in new beginnings.

Sarah’s beautiful poem will bless you and center you. Take a moment and a cup of coffee and read this poem this week as Christmas approaches. She takes you to the miracle of Christ’s birth and leads through to His ultimate promise. This post is one to savor.

Linkup Rules:

    1. Include a link back or the blog hop button linked to this hop on your posts.
    2. Link up the urls to your posts not to your blog.
    3. Please remember this is a family-friendly linkup. Although we believe in the right for adults to read whatever they want to read, we prefer to read wholesome posts that feature literature that edify and uplift families. We reserve the right to delete any posts that are not family friendly. We love all kinds of literature and genres including family-friendly inspirational romances, fantasy, or science fiction. We do not welcome any posts that feature excessive violence, sexual content, or any cursing. This rule also applies to book review posts that feature books that are not family-friendly. These posts will be deleted without notice to the blogger or explanation. While we believe in the right for all adults to read whatever they want, we feel our linkup is for family-friendly posts only. Thank you for understanding.
    4. We also want to be loving community by supporting one another. Please make a point to do this this week! Visit the two posts before yours and at least one other blogger’s post of your choice! I want to see lots of clicks on everyone’s posts. Remember it is also nice to follow them on their social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook.
    5. Follow your hosts and co-hosts on their social media.
    6. Tweet about the link up too.
