It is amazing how God can use our linkup to grow community and to grow me spiritually. Our community also changed my definitions of church and worship.
Last week, I asked for go to scriptures for building faith in times of disbelief or storms, and our community delivered. When I read through the comments, I found myself worshiping and in a sanctuary of community and love.
The Bible says :
“Where two or more are gathered in my name, there I am with them.”
I really believe God shows up when we edify each other with His scriptures and His Word which never returns void.
Scriptures seemed to uplift from my computer screen and swell into my spirit this week.
I loved this one shared by Barbara Harper:
Isaiah 43:2, ESV: “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.”
If you did not get a chance to read the comments in last week’s post, I really encourage you to do. Pull out your Bible and prepare your sanctuary and go to church with our community.
How has this community helped you? Do you need prayer. I hope you will share your prayer requests. This week we can become a community that prays together.
Now on to our weekly linkup. First let’s meet your hosts:

5 Ways to Get Home in the Rain
At Lisa Notes
My daughter hates when it I try to turn daily events into life lessons. I wish I had the finesse that Lisa shows in this post. Driving home in a storm becomes a metaphor of deep significance. Don’t miss this post’s inspiration and life changing lesson.

Online or face-to-face fellowship between believers is sweet indeed. I’m so glad it was a special sweet blessing to you last week. I was also glad to see Lisa’s post featured. It was one of my favorites from last week’s reading.
A global community around God’s Word, what a blessing!

I agree Mary, though going to church is ideal, He is with two or three and blogging and link ups are very much a part of worship. Especially, for those who may not be able to attend.
I too love how the community helps each other. There have been so many times I’ve been encouraged through comments and posts written by others. We are blessed to live in this time of technology. God can work through anything!
Thanks for sharing my post about the rain, Mary. Tomorrow I’ll drive back home again, and hopefully it won’t be raining. 🙂

I too love that scripture from Isaiah. Your suggestion to go back and look at the scripture from last week is excellent.
This community helps me each week in so many different ways. By reading your words and others, it gives me the desire to keep going in life and my writing. Thank you for being a host.

I love that scripture from Isaiah. Whenever I come across it I feel an exhale deep in my soul that shows me it really is all ok.
