Welcome back to the #LMMLinkup this week. Reading takes my mind off the problems swirling in my soul. My family dealt with health issues this winter that with the Spring seem to be clearing up, finally.
Through it all God has been so faithful. It seems that the books sent my way this Spring have helped a great deal with the stress and helped build my faith.
One book that has really blessed me is Kate Motaung’s A Place to Land. I will write a complete review on it this week. Her story sung to me off the pages and made me yearn to join her on the mission field. She recounted her struggles with eloquence and poetry. I amazed at how she loved spreading the Gospel with all her heart in South Africa and even met the love of her life. I don’t want to give away my whole review today though. I will save it for later.
I guarantee after reading the first chapter you will be hooked and will want to head on over to Amazon to purchase your own copy.” On Kate’s page today, you can sign up to read the first chapter of this book for free and read it for yourself.
Other books I read this past month and have reviewed are listed below. Just click on the links to read my reviews. I include affiliate links in them to make it easy for you to purchase your own copies. Do you know someone who needs uplifting? All three of these books would make wonderful gifts.
