Lord, I Place My Hope in Thee

October 4, 2017 By Mary Hill 4 Comments

Psalm 147:11

The LORD delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love.

I sat in bed just a few days ago, screaming in my head. I hate this world. I hate the situations in my life. I really felt like this was it. I had lost all hope. My mind turned and tears flowed.

I remember Saturday’s word about “Worship.” I wrote that worshiping can quiet the storms in your life.  I have to practice what I preached; so I grabbed my computer and typed the following:

Lord, you are My Hope, My salvation, and My Life

I put my Hope in You Lord

I find the strength that I need to climb higher when I fear as I look over the precipice.

I cling to the ledge in Hope

Hope that you will not let me falter

Hope that you will never leave or forsake me.

Hope in your Scriptures.

Lord, be the Hope of my children.

Lord, be the Hope of my nation.

Lord, be the Hope of my neighbors.

Lord, be the Hope of my family.

Lord let me in Hope in none but you.

Lord,  Hope is all that I have.

Hope and faith that you will not let me fall.

Hope that You will hold me in the hurricane

Hope that you will protect me from enemies.

Hope that you will shelter me when the rains lash and the storm crashes over my head.

Lord, Let me boast in the hope of the Glory of God.

Hope in Calvary’s tree.

Hope in the blood shed for me.

Lord, Let me boast in the hope of the Glory of God.

I pray you do not lose hope today.

We find our hope when we remember the sacrifice that God made for us.

He died for us.

When we believe and realize that we did not deserve the great sacrifice that He made for us

We find true Hope.

Looking back over what I had written, I found another step in escaping the everyday problems and the real storms of life. We can find hope in prayer and worship. We can also find hope by praying for others. We can also find hope when we tell of the greatness of our God.

I hoped this blessed you today.

Beautiful, Mary. Yes, we find hope in God. Things and people may fail us, but God is always there holding us up and watching over us.

Blessings to you! I’m your neighbor today at #CoffeeforYourHeart.
