Through blogging, you can build friendships. Tonight,(Monday) I am writing a little about those friendships as well as completing my Five Minute Friday post. Why am I so behind? Why can’t I seem to catch up and stay on track.
I know, I should be better organized. I am writing a series, completed two-chapters in a book for a July conference, and trying to build blogging friendships.

I forge ahead, however, because I want to share and encourage.
Now for my Five Minute Friday post. Learn more about Five Minute Friday hosted by Kate Motaung here. This week’s prompt: expect.
Blogging & Expectations
9:15 Go
When I started blogging, I did not know what to expect.
I started with no goal in mind, except building a potential readership for future books or novels.
I did not expect blogging to take so much of my time that writing books or novels became more difficult.
I did not anticipate meeting (virtually) so many women from all over the world. Some of these women, I count as friends. Tara who writes the blog: Praying on the Prairie, is one such friend. I can count on her to contact me every four months or so on Facebook. She checks in with a hi, how are you and we chat.
Recently, I met some of my new blogging buddies in person. I never dreamed the ladies would be so sweet and loving. Tammy Mashburn who writes: TLMashburn & Gifts of Grace and Gayl Wright, who recently moved her blog to her WordPress self-hosted site, Words, Photos, and Art. Gayl is also my co-host on Literacy Musing Mondays.
Tammy, Gayl, and I had the privilege to dine at a local Olive Garden and chat. We broke bread, prayed, laughed and ate for two hours. I never expected to make such great friends.
I also never dreamed of finding such supportive groups like the Facebook group: 31 Day Survivors/We’re Better Together.
Blogging opens up a whole world of community, friends, and fun; things I had not counted on when I first started.
Now, I spend hours reading blogs, writing blog posts, and meeting new friends. I still hope to grow my readership so one day I can publish a book, but if I never do, I am blessed already because of the friendships I have found.

People who do not enjoy online relationships are missing out I think. I have been blessed by the community I have found online as well. And the people I’ve been able to meet in real life, oh my goodness, what a reflection of the Lord in my life they are to me. So good to ‘meet’ you here for FMF.
I had no idea I would build the friendships with other bloggers that I have. What a blessing from Heaven when meeting some in person!
I so agree. Thanks for stopping by!
