Welcome back to the #LMMLinkup this week. I want to wish everyone a Happy Independence Day.
I also want to thank you all for your prayers. They worked and despite my unbelief, God worked a miracle. The doctor found no blockages in my husband’s heart. Now, we are praying for a similar miracle with his neck.
You all really boosted my faith last week with your prayers. I cannot thank you enough. Now, please pray that my husband will be cleared for neck surgery soon and that God will heal his neck.
Thank you all so much again. I hope you all have a spectacular Fourth of July.
Now on to our weekly linkup. First let’s meet your hosts:

“When we find ourselves fretting, fearful, downcast, we seek God and remind ourselves of His truth in His Word”
Barbara’s post proved very timely in my life this past week. I found myself fretting and worrying, but God is wonderful to forgive and see us through our most trying times. I hope you will enjoy her post.
My Favorite Post
Sarah provided a very timely and inspirational post for this holiday season.
“Jesus, no matter what happens today or in the days ahead for America,
we pray you will turn our hearts to you.
We pray for a new spiritual awakening across our great country.
Unite the plans and purposes of your church, that we may serve you and
our fellow Americans with love and peace.”
As we celebrate Independence Day, I lift my voice in concert with Sarah and pray Amen. I hope you will also read this important post and pray with Sarah for our country today.
Please let me know what you liked about this post in the comments. What are your prayers for our country this week? Thank you so much for your continued support.

Hi Mary , I missed the link up last week, but remembered you in prayer. What a praise report, so glad for you. And I think you probably had some doubts is all, why rest is so important. You certainly aren’t in this category, Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there be in anyone of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God. Hebrews 3:12 Now that is real heart trouble. Healing prayers and a restful 4th. (And peace over your dog, I know that is so hard. )
Rebecca, I appreciate your prayers and love the scripture you shared and will meditate on it. Thank you.

Gayl & Mary, thanks for sharing Sarah’s post and your prayers for our nation. We are in desperate need, aren’t we! Let’s pray that an awakening would happen first in our own hearts and the body of Christ would get fully committed to living for Him. If that would happen there is no telling what would happen in our nation at large. I think about a relatively small body of believers that once turned the world upside down according to the Scripture.

I’m so glad to hear the good news about your husband’s heart! I pray he can get the neck surgery soon and for God’s healing.
I’m honored that so many clicked on my post last week, and I hope it was a blessing to those who read. It’s something I have to remind myself of often.
